Esco Modular Operating Theatre Protocol

Esco Modular Operating Theatre is fully integrated system designed to meet the specialized needs of today's hospitals. It's sloping ceiling panels ensure maximum reflection for the lighting system, ensuring even distribution of light throughout the theatres and eliminating dark zones. The air distribution is also more uniform, eliminating any build up of contaminants and waste anaesthetic gases in dead areas.

It had been shown that at least 80% of deep sepsis in total hip arthroplasty patients results from intra-operative wound contamination from airborne sources. Studies indicate that ultra clean ari in the operating room reduces the incidence of infections to a great degree. The vertical laminar airflow used in Esco's Operating Theatres remove airborne bacteria from the surroundings as fast as they are generated y the operating personnel. Wound contamination rates using ultra clean laminar airflow systems are reported to be five times lower than in conventional operating theatres.
